What happened to Yitzhak Rabin? Well he moved toward peace and was apparently killed by his own. We helped steer the election of his replacement by supporting a flamboyant murder/decapitation of a Palestinian in his home. A war crime by our own standards.
- Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin supported the Oslo Accords.
- November 4 1995 Yigal Amir, a zealot Zionist assassinated Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
- Shin Bet is the Secret Service of Israel, are the protection for the Prime Minister.
- Avishai Raviv was an activist and had a relationship with Amir, and worked for the Shin Bet
So there were ties between the Prime Minister's security protection force and his assassin. - The Shin Bet assassinated a Palestinian terror suspect, Yahya Ayyash on January 5 1996, It
was a flamboyant assassination, seemingly designed to create a martyr. He left behind a wife
and newborn. After his death Israel bulldozed his family home. - January 8 1996 the head of the Shin Bet resigned. Days after the seeming martyr creating
assassination of the Palestinian. - The Palestinians retaliated with 4 attacks in the next few months killing 50-60 and injuring
hundreds of Israelis. - Israel's elections were on April/May 29, 1996. There was a shift away from the Oslo Accords.
On November 4th 1995 Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated, this was the 12th of Marcheshvan, 5756 on the Hebrew Calendar, and occurred at 21:30, at the end of a rally in support of the Oslo Accords at the Kings of Israel Square in Tel Aviv. The assassin, a zealot Zionist named Yigal Amir, strenuously opposed Rabin's peace initiative and particularly the supporting of the Oslo Accords. According to an article in the New York Times, he had ties to the Shin-Bet. The Shin-Bet is the Israeli equivalent to the US Secret Service.
Two months and one day later there was another assassination. This assassination involved the Palestinian terror suspect known as the engineer. He was thought to have been the suspected mastermind behind the Palestinian bombing techniques, but that has been debated. Regardless on January 5, 1996, the Palestinian terror suspect, for his alleged bomb making skills was assassinated decapitated is his home. The assassination was reportedly triggered by a family member or college friend. Three days after the assassination, the leader of the Shin -Bet resigned.
In terms of the details; a cell phone was turned into a bomb placing a charge into it. He was called on his cell phone and his voice was verified, in the RF transmission fingerprint was verified by the device the NSA. Then the detonation signal was sent, killing him and taking his head off. His body and severed head were discovered the following day. The Shin-Bet were accused, they never denied buty The head of the Shin-Bet
The NSA supplied RF fingerprint device was developed by TRW in the early 1990s. This device can uniquely identify a phone distinguishing even between two off the same assembly line. This technology was developed for the NSA office R313 (became K512) during the early 90s. (It was managed by a man named Jay in this office, and was handed off to a man named Jim.)
This technology was also spun off commercially the company called Corsair Communications. (A man of Chinese descent named Evan worked in both places) They sold a product to AT&T in the Los Angeles area for cell phone clone fraud detection. This technology was also written about in documents to Congress, and this whenever R&D money spent was validated through the commercial use of the technology, it was a big deal with the Congressional Budget Office.
I was not on this project but heard about it from Jjm. I left NSA the summer of 1996,. But that's just before I left. There had been a reorganization of the R&E groups, in order to group similar technologies together. Our office, K512, was split into K512 and K55. Our supervisor Steve, went to K55, an his assistant supervisor, Charles, became the lead in K512. I was going to stay in K512, but is frustrated with the project assignments I had been given. They were some of the most challenging problems the agency had.
The true issue is who approved that assassination. Bill Clinton saw peace as his legacy. I do not think he would have approved it So who did? And the $17 trillion dollar question is who approved it.
